As you can see we took down our online commission calculator.  With our new system we do all the calculations for you. This will ensure accuracy every single time. We no longer accept email money transfers or personal cheques.  Any questions regarding this should be directed to Melissa melissa@mltalent.com:  READ BELOW for how to pay your commissions:  

IF YOU ARE ACTRA ( Full or Apprentice) AND RECEIVE YOUR CHEQUES AT YOUR HOME: OR if you are non union and sent your cheque to your house by accident.

  1. Take a picture of your paperwork with your smartphone / scanner and attach it to an email.

  2. Please email your blue or pink vouchers as well as the white paperwork that the cheque is attached too.  We need all copies so we can see the breakdowns and if fittings have been included etc.  Make sure the vouchers are clear and have the gross amounts written clearly on them. Email your paperwork to  admin@mltalent.com.  In the subject bar put SEND ME AN INVOICE.

  3. Wait for us to email you an invoice - do not send us payment until you receive an invoice from us.

  4. When you receive the invoice, click on view invoice and refer to the top right hand corner to make your payment online with a credit card or your visa debit card.  Be sure to click the save payment method to pay faster next time.  Two clicks from the comfort of your home.

  5. Once you have made a payment you will receive a receipt confirming your payment.

  6. Commission paperwork must be emailed to us the day you receive your cheque.

BENEFITS:

  • When you use a credit card you do not incur any fees like you do with an email money transfer.

  • You can also collect points by using your credit card which is a benefit to you.

  • From our end if you use the online payment system, the system automatically attaches the payment to your invoice. You get a receipt immediately which is helpful when doing taxes and the system automatically and instantly marks you as paid. However with any other method of payment we must manually attach your payment to your invoice which takes time and effort and leaves room for error.

 

IF YOU ARE NON UNION / AABP OR YOUR CHEQUES COME TO THE OFFICE:

Refer to the photo below on how the voucher should be filled out. Your name with the agency address.

  1. When a cheque arrives in the office you will be notified via email with an invoice that the cheque is in.

  2. The payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.  You have a week to pay this invoice, either in person or online otherwise a late fee will be applied.

  3. To make your payment online, click  view invoice and refer to the top right hand corner to make your payment via credit card or Visa debit card.  Be sure to click save payment method to pay faster next time.

  4. Once you have made a payment you will  receive a receipt confirming your payment.

  5. Be sure to mention you paid online for faster service.

  6. Refer to Benefits above.

HOW MUCH COMMISSION DO I PAY?

Full ACTRA:  All commissions are subject to HST

  • 10% for Regular Background performance
  • 15% for Commercials and upgrades
  • 20% Print

Apprentice / yellow vouchers

  • 15% For all jobs
  • 20% Print

NON UNION & AABP - HOW VOUCHERS SHOULD BE FILLED OUT FOR PAYMENT.
