WORKING REQUIREMENTS FOR BACKGROUND PERFORMERS

At ML Talent Agency, we prioritize compliance with Canadian employment regulations. All individuals seeking employment with us must meet specific requirements mandated by Canadian law:

1. Legal Authorization to Work:

• Individuals must possess legal authorization to work in Canada or hold valid work permits. You will be asked to provide valid and current documentation.

2. Health and Safety Awareness Training:

• Completion of a mandatory health and safety awareness module is essential for all performers. Use the provided link to access the training: Health and Safety Training for Workers.

• Bring a photocopy of the certificate to each new set or keep a picture on your phone as proof.

WHAT YOU NEED ON SETS:

1) Residency Forms:

• Production requires completed residency forms before releasing payments. Performers must arrive with either their driver's license number or a photo copy of a document (e.g., bank statement, utility bill) displaying their address. Health cards are not sufficient.

2) Ministry of Labour Certification:

• Since July 1st, a hard copy of the Online Safety Course certification through the Ministry of Labour is mandatory in Ontario. TAKE THE COURSE HERE

• Print and bring copies to each new set. Keep a photo on your phone and ensure easy access to email it to production if needed. The agency won't handle emailing this paperwork.
