With nearly three decades entrenched in the Film industry, Melissa Lee stands as a trailblazer, wielding her expertise as the founder and owner of one of Toronto's premier background agencies.
Graduating with a degree in Sociology from the esteemed University of Western Ontario, Melissa initiated her journey in the film realm as an in-house agent. Her dedication and passion for the industry propelled her into collaborations with renowned casting director Stephanie Gorin and a stint as a freelance assistant producer at Partners Film Company.
In 2013, Melissa transformed her company into the rebranded and highly esteemed ML Talent Agency. As an industry innovator, she spearheaded the creation and implementation of an in-house searchable talent database, revolutionizing accessibility for casting directors and producers alike.
Beyond her entrepreneurial ventures, Melissa assumes a pivotal role as a founding member and Co-Chair of the influential Toronto Talent Agent Association (TTAA).
